CHAPTER 03

Life, posted.

Gaming, Iceland, getting on camera and finding my own voice.

01

The place where I share what I am making.

@Snake_was_here

This became my main X account: projects, thoughts and things I notice along the way. It is where I realised I enjoy the process of creating and sharing as much as the idea of where it might lead.

I once tried getting help with replies, but my own voice is a big part of why I am there. These days, my workflow also includes videos edited and published through Hermes.

A crypto bot that taught me about servers.

@Ripple_Rate

I built a bot that posted prices for three coins, with custom hooks and calls to action. Getting it running introduced me to rented servers, scripts and working with AI to build software.

The account later became a crypto meme experiment. Different direction, same urge to find out what I could make.

Sharing the process and giving things away.

@lucky_411

The idea was to help people while documenting what I was learning. I shared project updates and free product drops, often connected to my Gumroad experiments.

I still have a soft spot for this chapter. It was one of the first times sharing the work felt like a worthwhile part of the work itself.

Written between shifts in Iceland.

@Pijus_Smile

I was working ten-hour days as a tyre changer in Iceland when I started putting real effort into this account. Posts happened on the way to work, during breaks and after getting home.

I even tried waking up in the middle of the night to post. My coworker bet I would not manage it. He was right. But wanting to create something of my own stayed with me.

Gaming, editing and a digital time capsule.

@myluckytime

My gaming channel began with CS:GO, which I spent more than 2,000 hours playing, and later moved into osu!. It gave me a reason to record and edit long before I thought about building tools for it.

I still like the idea of a channel as a time capsule: a place to leave little pieces of what life felt like at the time.

Getting in front of the camera.

@Snake__was_here

This became a place for videos of me: things I was building, life, little adventures and ideas I wanted to remember.

I was not trying to squeeze everything into a niche. Sometimes the point of a video is simply that I will be glad it exists later.

07

Exploring what AI video could become.

@your-mini-movies

I experimented with videos generated from text and images I had made with Midjourney. It was a chance to explore moving images without filming every scene myself.

Export limits and expiring subscriptions affected how far I could take it at the time. The curiosity carried forward into my video-generation and editing systems.

08

A private account before a public voice.

@Snake_waz_here

Talking to a camera used to make me nervous. I made a private Instagram account first, so I could practise short videos without feeling like everyone was watching.

Those small experiments helped me get comfortable enough to put my face on YouTube. I still have a soft spot for that account.

09

Ordinary life, without overthinking it.

@snake_waz_here_alt

This was one of the first places I shared my personality online through simple photos from daily life.

Posting without turning everything into a question about likes or reach felt freeing. Not every creative outlet needs a performance target.

10

An idea for comparing the same work across platforms.

@a.8_animation

I set this up as a place to share AI-generated videos from YouTube on Instagram and see how they translated.

It stayed an early experiment rather than becoming a regular channel. I am keeping it here as part of the trail of ideas.

11

A smaller space to test ideas.

@mystspeak

I used this account to explore marketing and digital product ideas with a more focused audience.

It was an experimental space rather than a consistent publishing project. Another way to learn how an idea changes when someone else sees it.

Room for things that do not fit a niche.

@NowgoWin

This TikTok account started with marketing ideas and wandered into wall drawings, silly skits and whatever I felt like making.

It had a completely different energy from my Instagram. I like having room for that side of creating too.

GOT SOMETHING IN MIND?

Let’s make
something happen.

A project, an experiment, a “could we build this?”
I’m happy to hear it.
